 Tyson Crinis Wins South Pacific Pro-Am Back To News Index

The first ever South Pacific Pro-Am was contested over the weekend of the 7th and 8th of March at Club Marconi. 168 players contested in this event with 84 players qualifying for the final weekend at marconi.

Congratulations to Tyson Crinis from Illawarra winning the event off a -50 handicap. Tyson defeated John Wims (-40) in the final 3 frames to Nil. Congratulations also to Stuart Duncan (-40) and Dave Wright (-30) who both reached the semi finals. Well done also to Vinnie Calabrese in making the high break of 107 with 2 other century breaks in the round robin phase.

Thank you to all the participants in the event and especially those who travelled from outside Sydney to compete and support this evolutionary event. Thank you also to the main sponsor Club Marconi and all the other clubs / venues that participated in the event. A final thanks to Ron Baikie and Bill Hart and all others who contributed in the organisation and coordination of the event.
